Friends of Arts & Flowers' museum program began in 1984 to provide a colorful, living welcome to the DIA. the flowers are one of the few things a visitor can touch.

The program has expanded to include working with curators in creating interpretive flower arrangements for exhibition openings, providing financial support for a number of special DIA acquisitions, as well as hosting the annual Elizabeth flower arrangers and gardeners.

Hand-on experiences are available to members interested in orientation workshops as well as assisting with and arranging flowers. Participation has brought many arrangers and viewers great fun and real joy.

To become a member of the Friends of Arts & Flowers, you must have an active DIA membership.
